Container è uno spazio fisico e mentale che raccoglie esperienze condivise. I progetti transitano scorrendo nella cornice del display per venire poi archiviati nelle gallerie virtuali. Lo schermo è luogo di scoperta e incontro. Gli interventi nello spazio non seguono una linea circoscritta, collaborazioni e interazioni definiscono di volta in volta processi dinamici. Competenze fluide e caratteri diversi determinano risultati estetici e concettuali non ripetibili una seconda volta. La costruzione di ogni progetto nasce dal confronto, dallo scambio, dalla sensibilità e dall’apporto soggettivo. I luoghi poi catturano il lavoro e l’esperienza riscrivendo la natura degli oggetti.
Container is a physical and mental space that collects shared experiences. The projects pass by scrolling through the display frame and are then stored in the virtual galleries. The screen is a place of discovery and encounter. Intervention in the space does not follow a limited path, each collaboration and interaction defines the dynamic process. Fluid skills and different characters determine aesthetic and conceptual results that cannot be repeated. The construction of each project stems from comparison, exchange, sensitivity, and subjective contribution. The environment then captures the work and experience by rewriting the nature of the objects.
Cava / Quarry
Il progetto nasce nell’agosto 2021 dall’incontro con Altrementi e il fotografo Marco Covi. La cava è uno spazio fisico e mentale spiazzante, un’architettura dove l’elemento naturale e le tracce dell’attività estrattiva in apparente contrasto spostano costantemente la visione dal dettaglio macro a strutture squadrate verticali enormi. La cava è un paesaggio vasto e circoscritto allo stesso tempo. Le pareti, i tagli, le stratificazioni delineano storie geologiche. Le forme scultoree che abbiamo inserito tra i blocchi generano contrasti o assonanze: i cromatismi sono in opposizione quando il cemento nero si combina al marmo bianco, mentre risultano in armonia quando la materia e le gradazioni dei vasi ricordano pietre e depositi calcarei.
The project was conceived in August 2021 from the meeting with Altrementi and the photographer Marco Covi. The quarry is an unsettling space both physically and mentally, an architecture where the natural element and the traces of extractive activity in apparent contrast constantly shift the vision from the macro detail to the huge vertical squared structures. The quarry is a vast but circumscribed landscape. The walls, the incisions, the stratifications delineate geological stories. The sculptural forms that we inserted among the blocks generate contrasts or assonances: there is chromatic opposition when black concrete is combined with white marble, but harmony when the material and the shades of the vases recall stone and limestone deposits.
